Texas Instruments’ TI-92 II is the successor to the
TI-92 which started this
series (see bellow).
This is basically an extended version of the TI-92 extending memory capacity to 256 kB of RAM of which 136 kB is user available. This extension was also available as a module for the TI-92 series of calculators. Various expansion modules are available, see this list (link validated 2026-10-20) on datamath.org. Since this particular The TI-92 II lists its memory as having 199928 bytes of user memory I suspect this one is equipped with the TI-92 Plus module. So, on the outside its the TI-92 II with the capabilities of the TI-92 Plus. The memory backup battery is a normal CR 2032 instead of the special CR 2032/TI battery the TI-92 has. A lot of useful information can be found on this Wikipedia page (link validated 2026-10-19). |
