Notes: The CHINON EXECUTRON 8M/2 is an 8-digit plain calculator with a 9-digit fluorescent display. The leftmost digit is used as a startus indicator. Next to the basic functions it also has the square root, percentages and the +/− key to change the sign of a number.

It looks exactly like the mains-powered desktop calculators of old, but this one is battery powered and therefore allowed into my calculator museum. It can run on expensive alcaline batteries but also on NiCad cells which can be charged whilst inside the calculator.

It only has a M+ key to store something in memory, press M+ again to add to what is currently in memory. Use the +/− key on a positive result before pressing M+ to subtract.

MR shows the current memory value, press it twice to clear the memory.
